On a personal note, I'm originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and I studied Human Resources Management at Golden Gate University in San Francisco. My wife is an elementary school art teacher and an award-winning artist, and we've made Virginia Beach our home for over 20 years. I enjoy being active in our community and have volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, Food Bank of South Hampton Road, and the Fatherhood Mentoring Program with the City of Portsmouth. Outside the office, you are likely to find me coaching youth sports or enjoying a sunny afternoon on the golf course. I'm also a classic car enthusiast and love swapping stories about cool rides.
